 g Path\, a curated learning journey for WashU staff who want to lead with p
 urpose\, confidence and impact – no matter their role. This path offers six
  engaging instructor-led workshops (available virtually and in person) and 
 three flexible on-demand courses\, all designed to help you build the minds
 et\, skillset and habits to lead from within. The sessions within the path 
 do <strong>not</strong> need to be taken in a specific order\, allowing you
  to progress at your own pace and based on your interests.  <strong>These c
 ourses are available to all WashU staff and faculty at all levels</strong>.
 </p></div><p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Course Description: </stron
 g>People with a growth mindset achieve ever-higher levels of performance an
 d unlock their potential by embracing the process of improvement and foster
 ing a proactive approach to personal and professional development.</p><p cl
 ass="wp-block-paragraph">By understanding and applying a growth mindset\, y
 ou can transform your behavior and make intentional choices in your approac
 h to challenges\, feedback\, and continuous learning.</p><p class="wp-block
 -paragraph">In this course\, participants will explore the transformative w
 ork of psychologist Carol Dweck and learn to recognize key characteristics 
 associated with a growth mindset. Participants will also learn practical st
 rategies for developing and applying these characteristics to transform the
 ir beliefs about learning and intelligence.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph
 "><strong>Course Objectives </strong></p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">Part
 icipants will learn to:</p><ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Define growth mind
 set</li><li>Recognize key characteristics associated with a fixed mindset\,
  distinguishing them from a growth mindset</li><li>Understand how mindset i
 nfluences individual behavior\, learning\, and responses to challenges</li>
 <li>Recognize and transform fixed mindset self-talk into growth-oriented af
 firmations\, cultivating a more optimistic and resilient mindset</li><li>De
 velop strategies to foster a growth mindset culture within their teams or w
 orkplaces\, encouraging collaboration\, adaptability\, and continuous learn
 ing</li></ul><p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Audience:</strong> This 
 class is for all Washington University in St. Louis staff and faculty at an
 y level (Leading Self\, Others\, or the Organization )</p><p class="wp-bloc
 k-paragraph"><strong>Facilitator:</strong> Katie Nolen\, Learning and Devel
 opment Consultant</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">Katie is passionate abou
 t fostering a culture of continuous learning and facilitating interactive l
 earning programs that empower employees to reach their full potential in an
  inclusive\, supportive environment.  She is a life-long learner and uses h
 er background in education to help staff develop skills and competencies fo
 r both professional and personal success.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph">

 at the Link in the Loop building\, near the Danforth Campus (621 N. Skinker
  Blvd. Suite 300 | St. Louis\, MO 63130). Please park in the lot to the nor
