 ovide participants with a basic awareness of cultural diversity as well as

 importance of diversity\, equity and inclusion initiatives to the universit
 y</li><li>Explore the impact of exclusion</li><li>Understand the importance
  of being an ally.</li></ul><header class="page-header"><strong>Session 2.0
  — Understanding (5-6pm)</strong><br />Facilitators provide experiential ac
 tivities that align with materials from the American Association of Medical
  Colleges (AAMC) to demonstrate how unconscious bias is something that ever
 y individual holds. The goal of this interactive training is to highlight t
 he concept of unconscious bias\, how it influences individuals on a daily b
 asis\, and provides tangible tools for mitigating unconscious bias.</p><hr
