 arning Path\, a curated learning journey for WashU staff who want to lead w
 ith purpose\, confidence and impact – no matter their role. This path offer
 s six engaging instructor-led workshops (available virtually and in person)
  and three flexible on-demand courses\, all designed to help you build the 
 mindset\, skillset and habits to lead from within. The sessions within the 
 path do <strong>not</strong> need to be taken in a specific order\, allowin
 g you to progress at your own pace and based on your interests.  <strong>Th
 ese courses are available to all WashU staff and faculty at all levels</str
 ong>.</p></div><p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Course Description: </
 strong>Even when we know feedback is meant to help\, it can still catch us 
 off guard. Receiving feedback is a powerful tool for personal and professio
 nal growth\, but it isn’t always easy. We all react to feedback– what count
 s is how we move forward from that moment.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph"
 >This interactive session explores why feedback can feel challenging\, and 
 how we can learn to receive it with openness\, clarity\, and purpose. Drawi
 ng on research from <em>Thanks for the Feedback</em> by Douglas Stone and S
 heila Heen\, as well as key principles of growth mindset and active listeni
 ng\, participants will develop practical strategies for navigating feedback
  with intention and resilience. Whether the feedback is expected or surpris
 ing\, participants will leave better equipped to transform insights into me
 aningful development.</p><p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Learning Obj
 ectives: </strong></p><ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Recognize the emotional
  and cognitive factors that can make receiving feedback difficult</li><li>I
 dentify and manage common triggers that affect receptivity to feedback</li>
 <li>Apply strategies to stay open\, grounded\, and curious when receiving f
 eedback</li><li>Reflect on and analyze feedback to determine next steps for
  growth</li><li>Develop a personal action plan for applying feedback constr

 and uses her background in education to help staff develop skills and compe
