 >Forum on Medicine\, Race\, and Ethnicity in St. Louis\, Past to Future</st
 rong>.</p><p>Along with a welcome by <a href="https://afas.wustl.edu/people
 /gerald-early">Gerald Early</a>\, the Merle Kling Professor of Modern Lette
 rs and director of the Center for Race\, Ethnicity and Equity\, and keynote
  address by <a href="https://nephrology.wustl.edu/people/will-ross-md-mph/"
 >Will Ross\, MD</a>\, associate dean of diversity at Washington University 
 School of Medicine\, 22 speakers\, including scholars\, public health leade
 rs\, artists\, and citizens of St. Louis\, will take part in six moderated 
 panels:</p><ul><li>The History and Legacy of Pruitt-Igoe</li><li>The Histor
 y and Legacy of Homer G. Phillips Hospital</li><li>Questions of Health and 
 Wellbeing in the St. Louis Latin American Community</li><li>Bodies at Risk:
  Obstetrics\, Trauma\, and Disease</li><li>Questions of Health and Wellbein
 g in the St. Louis Asian Community</li><li>Activist and Reparative Art</li>
 </ul><p>This is a public-facing event and all members of the university and
  broader St. Louis community are welcome. <u>Event registration is encourag
 ed</u> and free of charge. Lunch will be offered to attendees.</p><p>The Fo
 rum on Medicine\, Race\, and Ethnicity in St. Louis\, Past to Future is sup
 ported by the Office of the Provost and Washington University’s ten-year st
 rategic vision\, Here and Next\, designed to mobilize research\, education\
 , and patient care to establish WashU and St. Louis as a global hub for tra
 nsformative solutions to the deepest societal challenges. When we bring our
  community together around topics that expand our knowledge and our perspec
 tives\, we stimulate the open\, vibrant environment that will make our stra
 tegic vision possible.</p><p>The event is supported by the Center for the H
 istory of Medicine at Washington University Medical School\, the Institute
