 enevieve Melton-Meaux is a Professor of Surgery and Health Informatics\, Se
 nior Associate Dean of Health Informatics and Data Science\, and Director f
 or the Center for Learning Health System Sciences at the University of Minn
 esota. She is a practicing colorectal surgeon. At the University of Minneso
 ta\, she serves on the Executive Leadership Team of the University’s Data S
 cience Initiative\, Associate Director for the Clinical NLP Research Group\
 , and Program Director for the Clinical Informatics Fellowship.  Operationa
 lly\, Dr. Melton-Meaux serves as the Chief Health Informatics and AI Office
 r for M Health Fairview and integrated healthcare delivery system based in 
 Minnesota where she leads informatics including Clinical Decision Support (
 CDS)\, Health IT optimization and an enterprise AI program\, as well as the
  system’s evidence-based care program. Her research interests include surgi
 cal informatics\, improving note usage in EHRs\, evaluating biomedical stan
 dards and technology solutions in practice\, advancing learning health syst
 em capabilities and the generation of real world evidence\, and clinical na
 tural language processing (NLP).  Dr. Melton-Meaux is a member of the Natio
 nal Academy of Medicine\, American College of Medical Informatics\, and Ame
 rican Surgical Association. She has served as the Past-President of the Ame
 rican College of Medical Informatics and is the current Chair and President
  for the American Medical Informatics Association. She has over 250 publica
 tions.</p><h5 class="p2"><b>Learning Objectives</b></h5><ul><li>Comprehend
