 rship in complex academic and medical environments requires more than just 
 managing tasks\; it demands a deliberate focus on the professional and emot
 ional well-being of our teams. Reflective Supervision is a collaborative\, 
 relationship-based practice that moves beyond traditional oversight to crea
 te a structured space for deeper reflection\, problem-solving\, and mutual 
 accountability. By examining not just <em>what</em> we do\, but how our exp
 eriences and reactions influence our work\, leaders can foster psychologica
 l safety and mitigate chronic burnout. In this interactive session\, partic
 ipants will explore the foundational principles of reflective practice and 
 walk away with actionable strategies to enhance their daily management appr
 oach across WashU.</p><p><strong>Course Objectives:</strong><br />By the en
 d of this session\, participants will be able to distinguish Reflective Sup
 ervision from traditional administrative or coaching\, apply at least two r
 eflective listening and questioning strategies to support staff in their da
 ily practice as a manager\, and identify at least three colleagues across W
 ashU with whom they can connect regarding Reflective Supervision.</p><p><st
 rong>Target Audience</strong>: This workshop is for all Washington Universi
 ty in St. Louis staff who serve as people managers and supervisors.</p><p><
 strong>Facilitator:</strong>  <strong>Monique Gill\, Senior Manager Social 
 Services Program\, Psychiatry</strong></p><p>Monique Gill\, LPC is a season
 ed mental health professional\, trainer\, and a leader dedicated to fosteri
 ng organizational well-being and resilient leadership. Currently she’s serv
 ing as one of the Directors of the Perinatal Behavioral Health Service in t
 he Child & Adolescent Division of Psychiatry at WashU Medicine. Monique<str
 ong> </strong>specializes in perinatal mental health\, trauma-informed prac
 tices\, and inclusive culture. Part of her leadership journey and values in
 cludes championing relationship-based management models that bridge the gap
  between clinical insight and daily leadership execution. At WashU\, Moniqu
 e focuses on supporting workforce sustainability\, growth\, and creating co
 llaborative spaces where diverse teams can thrive. She is a graduate of the
  2023-2024 Leadership Excellence and Development Cohort\, a former Discussi
 on Guide for Leading through Uncertainty\, and is a continuous learner of b
 oth clinical training and leadership development.</p><p>Monique participate
 d in a 9-month Supervisor Learning Collaborative through Missouri Academy f
 or Child Trauma Studies\, engaging in trauma-informed and reflective superv
 ision practice. In addition\, she has additional Reflective Supervision tra
 ining through the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health.</p><p><stron
 g>An important note:</strong> This session is being held virtually. We reco
