Facilitators provide experient

edical Colleges (AAMC) to demonstrate how unconscious bias is something tha
t every individual holds. The goals of this interactive training is to high
light the concept of unconscious bias\, how it influences individuals daily
\, and provides tangible tools for mitigating unconscious bias.

How to attend the training: This virtual traini
ng is conducted in Zoom.
- Please leave the video on during the tr
aining if possible. You may be asked to turn off video to increase Zoom dat
a and bandwidth.
- Please log in to Zoom using your WUSM SSO credenti
als before joining. Joining from a space with multiple participants is disc
ouraged due to the interactive nature of the training.
- How
to change Zoom screen name –While in the meeting\, see “Participan
ts\,” hover the mouse over your name on the participants’ list\, see “more”
if using the Participant list\, or … on your screen\, “Rename”\, enter fir
st and last name\, “OK”. Or place your full name in the chat at the beginni
ng of the training. If an incomplete screen name is used\, it may take long
er to change the completion status.

- Late arrival – Please join the training wit
hin 15 minutes of the start. Anyone joining after 15 minutes will need to r
egister for another training and complete it in full\, to receive a Success
ful completion status.
