The goal of this training is to prov
ide language to address discrimination without shaming others but rather fo
stering inclusion. We accomplish this goal through interactive media\, posi
tive response techniques\, and activities encouraging empathetic understand
ing through exploring real-life identities.
How to Register: P
lease click on the registration link\, which w
ill sign you up for the class after verifying your wustlkey information.
How to attend the training: This virtual training is conducted i
n Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent to registered learners before the traini
ng date.
- Please leave the video on during the training if possib
le. You may be asked to turn off video to increase Zoom data and bandwidth.
- Please log in to Zoom using your WUSM SSO credentials before joini
ng. Joining from a space with multiple participants is discouraged due to t
he interactive nature of the training.
- How to change Zoom s
creen name –While in the meeting\, see “Participants\,” hover the
mouse over your name on the participants’ list\, see “more” if using the Pa
rticipant list\, or … on your screen\, “Rename”\, enter first and last name
\, “OK”. Or place your full name in the chat at the beginning of the traini
ng. If an incomplete screen name is used\, it may take longer to change the
completion status.

f the start. Anyone joining after 15 minutes must register for another trai
ning and complete it in full to receive a Successful completion status.
