Amanda Coyle

Amanda Coyle is the Senior Coordinator of Payroll and Administration for the Department of Anesthesiology. She is a St. Louis native and returned to St Louis after graduating from the University of Missouri – Columbia with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She started at Washington University in the Department of Human Resources in 2019 and became the payroll/HR representative for the Department of Anesthesiology in 2020. She officially joined WashU Anesthesiology in August 2022 and works for both the research and clinical areas of the department. Amanda processes payroll, assists with onboarding for new hires, creates job requisitions, helps with the non-appointee process, and provides HR support. She loves the welcoming atmosphere of the department and the camaraderie of all her colleagues. 

Amanda lives with her fiancé, Ben, and their orange cat, Clementine, in St Louis City. She enjoys going to farmers markets, attempting knitting projects, creating flower arrangements for friends and family, and finding new coffee shops. Fun fact: Amanda has watched the TV show “The Office” more than thirty times through.
