Janice Kearns, ACNP

Janice was born and raised in Massachusetts. She attended St. Anselm College, where she earned her BSN in 1976 and married her college sweetheart 43 years ago. She earned her MSN, ACNP from Saint Louis University in 2005, and accepted a job as the third APP in WashU’s CT ICU almost 15 years ago. She has thoroughly enjoyed her years in CT ICU where she has proudly watched the APP group grow to 15 and has had the honor and privilege of teaching them and witnessing them develop into strong and competent providers. She readily acknowledges that they, in turn, have contributed to her growth and knowledge. She and her husband, Bob, raised four boys, and they now have three wonderful granddaughters and one grandson. She has two dogs and enjoys volunteering at several animal shelters. She truly loves being outside and likes to run, bike, and hike, however, her true passion is skiing. As retirement looms closer, she and her husband have set a goal to ski 75 days this upcoming season.
