We are delighted to announce that Dr. Derek Clary has joined the Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine on October 27, 2025 as a faculty member of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
Dr. Clary recently completed his fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at St. Louis Children’s Hospital/WashU Medicine. He earned his DO at the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in anesthesiology at WashU Medicine.
Dr. Clary’s clinical interests include regional anesthesia, ultrasound, and QI.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Clary enjoys health and fitness, playing pickleball and basketball, cooking and exploring new culinary techniques, and spending time with his wife, Melissa, and their two dogs Tillie and Luna.
