Hero Robles, MD

Department of Anesthesiology Featured Member: July 2026

Hero Robles is a CA-1 resident in the Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine. He was born in the Philippines, but spent most of his childhood in the suburbs of Chicago. He earned his bachelor’s degree in anthropology and biology at WashU. Following graduation, Hero worked as a research technician at the Neuroskeletal Biology Laboratory. He then completed medical school at the University of Missouri School of Medicine before moving back to St. Louis for residency.

Outside of work, Hero enjoys running, hiking, watching movies and traveling. He is an avid foodie and enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops. One of his lifelong goals is to visit every US national park—so far his favorite is Mount Rainier National Park.
