Drs. Emmert and Lakshminarasimhachar served as faculty mentors for cardiothoracic anesthesia fellows on a month-long trip to the National Cardiothoracic Centre at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Ghana.

Dr. Wolfson traveled to Guatemala for a two-week anesthesiology resident education exchange program at Roosevelt Hospital in Guatemala City.

A team of U.S. doctors, including Dr. Justin Knittel, provided medical care and support to Ukrainian children who had suffered from bombings and burns.

A team from the Department of Anesthesiology traveled to the Dominican Republic to lead a Regional Anesthesia Workshop in partnership with the SOFA-ILAC organization. Drs. Levent Sahin, Molly McCormick, James Whirtlin, and Rebeca Speltz worked with local anesthesia physicians in Las Palomas, providing hands-on training and education in regional anesthesia techniques.
