Castle Connolly Top Doctors is a health care research company and the official source for Top Doctors for over 25 years. Castle Connolly’s established nomination survey, research, screening, and selection process involves many hundreds of thousands of physicians as well as academic medical centers, specialty hospitals, and regional and community hospitals across the nation.

Submissions typically due in December.

Honoring the area’s leading Black medical professionals. The award was designed to encourage African Americans to pursue careers in the health care field, by highlighting local African Americans who are excelling in the field.
