Paul Knocke

Department of Anesthesiology Featured Member: July 2026

Paul Knocke has been a Division Administrator in the Department of Anesthesiology since March 2025. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Creighton University before completing his Master of Health Administration at the University of Iowa.

In his role, Paul partners with physician leaders and departmental leadership to oversee the administrative, operational, and financial activities of several anesthesiology divisions. His work includes supporting faculty recruitment, strategic planning, budgeting, staffing initiatives, and the expansion of clinical services across the department. He enjoys collaborating with clinicians and administrative teams to help ensure the department can continue providing exceptional patient care while supporting its missions in education, research, and clinical excellence.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys playing hockey and golf and spending time with family, especially his niece, Vivi.
