In recognition of Disability Pride Month, this Perspectives Dialogue explores the experiences of individuals living with invisible disabilities in workplace and learning environments. Participants will engage in guided discussion and reflection about common assumptions, barriers to disclosure, and the ways workplace cultures can either support or hinder inclusion.
Through this conversation, participants will have an opportunity to:
- Increase awareness of invisible disabilities and how they may affect individuals in workplace and learning environments
- Examine common misconceptions and barriers faced by individuals with non-visible disabilities
- Reflect on ways colleagues and institutions can foster more inclusive and supportive environments
Together, we will consider how greater awareness, empathy, and intentional practices can help foster a more supportive and inclusive community.
Lunch will be provided.
