Come walk around one of the most historic and unique neighborhoods in St. Louis: The Hill! Great coffee, markets, and interesting architecture abound. It’s easy to make conversation with so many interesting things to look at. End your walk at one of the many Italian markets, or grab a gelato if you aren’t already frozen. This would be a great opportunity to pick up some Valentine’s Day treats!
All are welcome at these casual events—families, dogs, kids are all welcome to join in the fun!
Meet at 10 am at Shaw Coffee. Stop in before we start for a coffee or hot drink!
We will then walk down Marconi to Piazza Imo. We will pause there to sample some Italian cookies from Vitale’s Bakery, and check out the Piazza and St. Ambrose Church.
We will then head down Wilson and stop at Missouri Baking company to try some of their famous Gooey Butter Cake and chocolate drops.
We will then keep heading down Wilson to Berra Park. Here we will sample some Hot Salami from Gioias Deli.
We will then head back up Daggett towards DiGriggorios Market. Here you can stop in for any Italian Goodies you need and to sample Volpi Sausage outside.
Finally, we will head down to Milos outdoor Bocce courts where you can grab an early lunch or drink on the patio and play Bocce!
