Kayla is a graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in exercise science. She worked in the ophthalmology field in her home state of Illinois for four years before joining the Department of Anesthesiology
In her free time, which is limited as the mother to two young boys, she enjoys traveling with her husband, running a small photography business, and decorating her home
