Dear Colleagues –
We want to welcome Dr. Wai Chiu to the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He will have an appointment in the General Division as a locum faculty member and will be with us until August 25, 2023.
Dr. Chiu completed his undergraduate work at Washington University and studied medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia. He completed his clinical residencies in anesthesiology at St. Luke’s Hospital and Barnes Jewish Hospital. Dr. Chiu also completed a fellowship in Pain Management at Washington University. Since then, he has worked in Cape Girardeau as both an attending physician and as the director of anesthesiology at Silver Springs Surgery Center.
We are happy to have Dr. Chiu back at Washington University. Please help us warmly welcome him as he begins his observations this week.
