The WashU Medicine Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI), WashU Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (WiSTEM), and the Association for Women in Science St. Louis Chapter(AWIS-STL) invite you to a symposium focused on promoting and fostering gender equity in science, medicine, and academia during Women’s History Month. The Honoring Excellence in Research (HER) symposium will include panel discussions on gender equity in industry and academia, short scientific talks, poster presentations, a keynote address, and opportunities for connection and celebration. All are welcome! We aim to create a space for learning, reflection, and collective progress. The event proceedings include:

- 1:10pm – 1:50pm: Short Talks
- 2:00pm – 2:45pm: Panel #2 – Future of Gender Equity in Science and Healthcare
- 2:55pm – 3:35pm: Short Talks
- 3:40pm – 4:25pm: Keynote Address
- 4:30pm – 6:00pm: Poster Session and Women’s History Month Reception (FLTC Atrium)
