Kyle was born and raised in north St. Louis County before attending the University of Missouri in Columbia for a bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s in medical sciences – Physician Assistant at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Following his graduation, he joined the department and has been working as a PA at Christian Hospital in the ICU. “I cannot overstate how fortunate I am to work with such a great team in an area of the city that I’ve called home since I was born.” Kyle looks forward to continuing to grow within the department while serving his patients and beginning to precept/teach others. When not at work, Kyle enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his beautiful and supportive wife Cara and their amazing daughter Raelyn. They are currently expecting their second child.

Jordan McNab, CRNA

Jordan McNab, CRNA

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Department of Anesthesiology Featured Member: March 2023

Jordan has been a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for the Department of Anesthesiology for one year.

An only child, Jordan grew up in the small town of Hartford, Illinois. Through the help of her dedicated mother and scholarship organizations, she was afforded the opportunity to go away for college. She graduated with her first undergraduate degree in health science from the University of Missouri at Columbia (go tigers!), and returned to St. Louis to complete the accelerated nursing program at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Jordan considers herself to be “Barnes-raised” as she began her career at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in 2016 as a student nurse technician in the Cardiac ICU, continuing on to work as a nurse in the same unit. Completing her nurse anesthesia training at Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2021, she continued on as a CRNA with the Department of Anesthesia after graduating where she now works in the general division, floating to all of the pods on both south and north campuses at BJH. She feels very fortunate to continue to work, learn, and grow within the hospital and among the colleagues that raised her.

Jordan is engaged to her fiancé, James, who she met at Mizzou during their sophomore year. They are getting married in September of 2023! Jordan and James live in Webster Groves with their two pets, Copper the goldendoodle and Ruthie the ragdoll cat. When not working, you can most likely find Jordan at a Mexican restaurant or spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys taking her dog on walks around the neighborhood, frequently stopping at The Annex, as it’s become one of her favorite spots since moving to Webster last summer. “If you try it, I highly reccomend the breakfast burrito — you wont be disappointed,” she says.
