Equity Champions

An Equity Champion is a dedicated individual trained by Washington University School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ODEI). These champions play a pivotal role in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the Department of Anesthesiology, helping to create a more fair and welcoming culture. They work closely with the ODEI and the department’s POWER office to provide DEI professional development and enhance the Understanding Systemic Racism curriculum for members.
