Megan Dewey, MD

Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology

Dr. Dewey completed her Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship and residency training here at St. Louis Children’s Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine. She served as chief resident from 2020-2021.

As a clinician, Dr. Dewey has an interest in liver transplant, regional, and fetal anesthesia. She also has interest in the cardiac cath lab, and in resident/fellow education, specifically in simulation training and curriculum development.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Dewey and her husband have a 2-year-old Labrador named Murphy who loves to be outside. They like to cook, especially when it involves trying out new recipes, and spending time with their close friends in St. Louis (often backyard bonfires and Sunday Formula One watch parties). Usually, they take a few international trips per year, but they will be home this spring as they are expecting a baby boy in March.
