In three words, I would describe myself as warm, analytical, and imaginative. In my free time I enjoy cuddling with my dogs, hiking, bicycling, traveling, riffing with my pals, dancing, and listening to audiobooks. Some of my top accomplishments that I am most proud of are earning my master’s degree in international relations, restructuring the International Patient and Scholar Program in the Department of Surgery, moving to Denver to work in refugee resettlement for the International Rescue Committee, and to a slightly lesser extent, working at Vintage Vinyl. In the coming years I aim to strengthen my comprehension and use of the Spanish language, work toward a certificate in project management, and grow within my role in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Some fun facts about me include my passion for the performing arts – I have been performing for anyone who might give me the time of day since the day I was born. I participated in the Bellarmine Speech League throughout grade school. I won a gold ribbon for my monologue performance of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” Lastly, I spent just over a month in St. Louis Children’s Hospital after breaking my femur at the age of six years old.
WashU Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital will forever have my love and trust. We have the best specialists and the best facilities. I am infinitely proud to be part of this organization.
