Join us in honoring Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with WUSM community member Robin Hattori.

In this session, Robin will share personal details of her mother and father’s internment during World War II. Her talk seeks to provoke discussion on concepts of racism, patriotism, civil rights vs. security, and righting past wrongs.

Robin is a research lab manager at the Program of Occupational Therapy.  She has worked at Washington University since 2002 in various roles in including admissions, community engagement, and project management. Robin is committed to DE&I at the University, having been involved in the Campus Diversity Collaborative, the Commission on Diversity and Inclusion, and orientation for BIPOC students, among other initiatives.
