Objectives:

  • Review high yield bedside ultrasound techniques pertinent to the anesthesiologist including lung, cardiac, vascular and gastric/abdominal ultrasound
  • Understand the basic physics of the ultrasound machine relevant to administering an ultrasound examination
  • Apply this understanding to clinical practice scenarios
