On March 17, 2023, the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis welcomed 22 new residents from medical schools across 16 states and Mexico.
This exciting day marked the start of a new journey for these physicians as they prepare to train in one of the most prestigious anesthesiology programs in the country.
This year’s newly matched residents come from a diverse range of backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. They were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, and their selection is a testament to their skills, dedication, and passion for the field.
