Summer was born and raised in Granite City, IL. She received her bachelor’s degree in geography from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE). Summer worked in the GIS field for a few years before she switched to working on the operations team at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center. She’s very happy to have found her place here in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesia office. She enjoys doing Jiu Jitsu with her husband & cuddling with her two puppies!
