Dear Colleagues –
We are happy to welcome Dr. Alicia Jeffcoat as a locums faculty. Her work will mainly be in the Cardiothoracic Division, but she will also spend some clinical time in the General Division.
Dr. Jeffcoat received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her residency in anesthesiology and her fellowship in adult cardiothoracic anesthesiology here at Washington University in St. Louis, and she spent a year on faculty in our department.
Dr. Jeffcoat subsequently pursued a Masters in Healthcare Administration at Louisiana State University at Shreveport and has spent the majority of her career, since departing Washington University in St. Louis, working clinically in Louisiana.
We are excited to have Dr. Jeffcoat back with us. Please help warmly welcome Dr. Jeffcoat when you see her on campus beginning this week.
