We are delighted to announce that John Rouck, MD, joined the Department of Anesthesiology at WashU Medicine on August 11, 2025, as a faculty member of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
Rouck completed his residency and fellowship, in pediatric anesthesiology, at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City where he participated in Columbia’s Clinical Educator Track as a resident and developed a lecture for it during fellowship.
His clinical interests include liver transplants, complex pediatric patients, cardiac disease, and pain, while his major academic interests include education, case reports on complex patients, and a handful of other projects throughout medical training.
Outside of the hospital, John enjoys running, cooking, travel, and movies and theater. He and his wife, Caroline, are excited to have moved back to the Midwest and to be closer to family.
