We are delighted to announce that Dr. Nicolette Vassallo joined the Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University on October 1, 2025, as a faculty member of Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
Dr. Vassallo completed her clinical pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital and residency at the University of Texas at Houston.
Dr. Vassallo’s clinical interests include acute pain management, regional anesthesia, and medical education, while her major areas of research interest include perioperative management of complex congenital and genetic conditions, advanced airway techniques, and quality improvement.
Outside of the hospital, Nicolette enjoys baking, exploring St. Louis, traveling, and reading.
