Ashley Weinhold, MD
Assistant Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology
Dr. Ashley Weinhold is an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She is originally from Arkansas, earning her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Central Arkansas. She attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine. Dr. Weinhold then completed her residency in anesthesiology at Washington University/BJC. After completing a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Washington University/St. Louis Children’s Hospital in 2016, she joined the faculty. She has been involved in education efforts within the division ever since!
Dr. Weinhold started as associate program director for the pediatric anesthesiology fellowship in 2020 and took over as program director for the fellowship in 2021. Her main areas of clinical interest are pediatric trauma and mass casualty planning as well as pediatric acute pain and regional anesthesia. She was recently elected as Clinical Representative to the Executive Committee of the Faculty Council for Washington University School of Medicine, beginning AY 23-24.
Ashley lives with her husband Mark and their two sons. When not busy at work, she loves spending time with her family enjoying all the fabulous things St. Louis has to offer – Grant’s farm, the science museum, the zoo, the museum of transportation, and the botanical gardens, just to name a few! She loves reading and is also looking forward to some traveling this year!
