Justin J Stout joined the DoCTR team in October 2022. He is a member of Dr. Simon Haroutounian’s Lab and is currently working on clinical research studies with CIPN and comparing analgesic regimen effectiveness and safety for surgery. Past work experience includes working with WashU in the Division of Geriatrics, Division of Oncology, and Division of Dermatology with NCI-sponsored NCTN trials and sponsored pharmaceutical trials. Other clinical work experience includes working as an exercise physiologist with BJC in Cardiac-Rehab. He studied exercise physiology at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, graduating with a Master’s Degree in August 2013. During his master’s program he worked with mentors on the effects of weight loss and maintenance on hormones associated with hunger and satiety.
