Dr. Rao will work in collaboration with hospital and departmental leaders, as well as with pain division faculty, to further the Pain Management Division’s contributions to the missions of the Washington University Pain Center.
The Pain Management Center was recently honored with a 5-star award from the Professional Research Consultants (PRC). This award designation is given annually to facilities that score in the top 10% of PRC’s national client database.
The Committee is composed of scientists, physicians, and health professionals who are leaders in the field of pain research looking to advance the fundamental understanding of pain and improve pain-related treatment strategies.
Dr. Bottros recently accepted the position of Chief of Pain Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). At USC, he will oversee all acute and chronic pain services at Keck Hospital, Los Angeles County Hospitals, and affiliated satellite clinics in southern California.
