James Baldwin Review is honored to announce that the 2026 James Baldwin Lecture will be delivered by Nicholas Boggs.

Boggs is the author of the bestselling biography, Baldwin: A Love Story (2025), and the coeditor of Baldwin’s collaboration with French artist Yoran Cazac, Little Man, Little Man: A Story of Childhood (2018).

The 2026 Lecture, entitled “James Baldwin Through the Prism of Love,” will be held on November 13 at 4 p.m. in Emerson Auditorium at Washington University in St. Louis.
