We are pleased to announce the appointment of Patricia (Trish) Wilkinson, ACNP-BC, as Assistant Director of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) group. In this role, Trish will be working closely with APP and department leadership to ensure appropriate APP staffing and resource allocation across all of the department’s critical care areas. She will also be working with the lead APPs in each critical care area on the orientation and integration of newly hired APPs, compliance, and education.
Trish has been practicing as an ACNP within the Division of Anesthesiology Surgical Critical Care at Washington University since 2012 and has been a member of the APP leadership team since 2015. She received her BSN from Barnes College of Nursing at the University of Missouri, St. Louis in 2003 and MSN/ACNP from St. Louis University in 2012. Trish is an active member of the United States Air Force Reserve. She was a Critical Care Air Transport Team Leader from 2005-2017, Chief Nurse of the 932ndAerospace Medicine Squadron, 2017-2020, and has recently accepted an appointment at Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters as Individual Mobilization Augmentee to the Chief of Education and Training where she is responsible for the development of education and training for all Air Force Reserve nurses.
