Dr. Vivian Gonzalez-Perez recruited as new tenure-track assistant professor

Vivian Gonzalez-Perez, PhD, a highly accomplished scholar whose research focus is ion channel biophysics and physiology, is being promoted from research instructor to tenure track assistant professor on July 1, 2023. Her appointment marks a significant milestone in her career, as she prepares to make further groundbreaking contributions to the scientific community.

Tan receives FAER Mentored Research Training Grant

Brandon Tan, MD, was recently awarded Mentored Research Training Grant from the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) to support his research on lipid modulation of the serotonin 3 receptor.

Njoku named Wise Endowed Chair in Pediatric Anesthesiology

Dolores B. Njoku, MD, an esteemed clinician, researcher, and mentor, was installed as the Rudolph L. and Mary Frances Wise Endowed Chair in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis on Monday, May 8, 2023.
