This course is a part of the Self-Leadership Learning Path, a curated learning journey for WashU staff who want to lead with purpose, confidence and impact – no matter their role. This path offers six engaging instructor-led workshops (available virtually and in person) and three flexible on-demand courses, all designed to help you build the mindset, skillset and habits to lead from within. The sessions within the path do not need to be taken in a specific order, allowing you to progress at your own pace and based on your interests.  These courses are available to all WashU staff and faculty at all levels.

Course Description:
Effective conflict management is crucial for building stronger work relationships. By fostering open communication, empathy, and collaboration, disagreements can be transformed into opportunities for growth and mutual understanding. Strategies like active listening, positive reinforcement, and seeking common ground can help de-escalate tensions and promote constructive dialogue.
