"WashU/St. Louis Children’s Hospital immediately stood out to me. I spoke with attendings, current fellows, and graduates. Everyone I spoke with responded with vibrant positivity and praise for the program. Complex cases, career development, and outstanding training in regional anesthesia were among the many reported strengths of the program. Most of all, a supportive and collegiate environment was consistently mentioned.

After completing the fellowship here, I am pleased to say that all of my expectations were met and exceeded. The faculty are especially welcoming and foster an extremely motivating and enjoyable work environment. In addition, the department makes a point to get to know everyone and the faculty host events throughout the year for everyone to get together.

Outside of work, St. Louis has been a hidden gem. There are many beautiful trails for running, biking, hiking, and being outside."
