Congratulations to Brian Torres, DNP, CRNA, who was recently honored with the Dean’s Award for Exceptional Service from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College. This award is presented to a faculty member for their outstanding service to the College, the academic profession, and the community. Teaching was excluded from consideration of this award.
Brian is the Assistant Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program and he serves as the Chair of the Curriculum Committee at the College and the newly formed College Evaluation Committee. This committee looks at the overall evaluation of the College. His tireless work dealt with making updates to how curricular changes were processed at the College and it is now a significantly more organized process that can also be tracked.
“Brian’s work has led to a significant positive effect on the College and the academic profession,” said Bernadette Henrichs, Director of CRNA Education and Research. “He is an invaluable member of our team and this award is well deserved.”
