Dr. Aaron Norris will join the Anesthesiology Residency Program Leadership group

Dr. Aaron Norris will be the Assistant Program Director for Scholarship of the Anesthesiology Residency Training Program

The Department of Anesthesiology at Washington University is pleased to announce that Aaron Norris, MD, PhD will formally be joining the Anesthesiology Residency Program Leadership group serving in the position of Assistant Program Director for Scholarship. This past academic year, Dr. Norris directed the selection and mentorship programs for the Department’s clinician-scientist training programs.

Dr. Norris is a graduate of the Washington University School of Medicine’s Medical Scientist Training Program and completed his residency and neuroanesthesia fellowship training as a member of the Department of Anesthesiology’s Scholars Program. Dr. Norris is an accomplished clinician-scientist and was recently awarded a Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER) Mentored Research Training Grant for his project titled ‘Isoflurane Activated Neural Circuits”. The Department of Anesthesiology is fortunate to have Dr. Norris serve as our Assistant Program Director for Scholarship.
