The Nurse Anesthesia program at the Goldfarb School of Nursing celebrated its Commencement virtually on Saturday, December 19, 2020.
Brian was presented with this award from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College for his outstanding service to the College, the academic profession, and the community.
Dr. Zoller will work closely with the WUDA and BJH Perioperative leadership in supporting clinical staff to promote safety, quality, and efficiency in perioperative care.
Dr. Rao will work in collaboration with hospital and departmental leaders, as well as with pain division faculty, to further the Pain Management Division’s contributions to the missions of the Washington University Pain Center.
The ASSURE fellowship program will provide college students from the St. Louis metro area an opportunity to engage in basic, clinical, and/or translational research projects.
Ro Sandoval, research technician in the Moron-Concepcion Lab, was recently recognized by the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS).
Dr. Evers will serve as the Interim Director of the Center for Clinical Pharmacology (CCP) as leadership looks to recruit a dynamic and visionary Center Director.
Dr. Karen Seibert, Professor of Anesthesiology, Pathology and Immunology, and Genetics, and Executive Director of the Center for Clinical Pharmacology (CCP) in our department, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020.
Andrea will work closely with Pediatric and CRNA leadership to enhance teamwork and peri-operative care of the pediatric patient.
Dr. Moron-Concepcion’s presentation will focus on how persistent pain alters the rewarding and motivational properties of opioids and will highlight the work of the research being conducted in the department.
