Seven APPs named finalists for 2024 March of Dimes Heroes in Action Awards

The Department of Anesthesiology is proud to announce that seven of its Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) have been named finalists for the prestigious March of Dimes Heroes in Action 2024 awards. Chosen for their outstanding contributions to nursing and healthcare, these individuals exemplify an unwavering commitment to patient care and excellence in their fields.

Heroes in Action honors outstanding nursing professionals who go above and beyond in their dedication to patients and communities. From May to August, nurses are nominated by colleagues, supervisors, and families for their exemplary work. Finalists are selected across various categories, with an awards event in November to celebrate these remarkable healthcare professionals.

The Director of the Advanced Practice Provider Group for the Division of Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine, Beth Beyatte, DNP, RN, ACNP-BC, expressed her pride in the finalists and their contributions: “Congratulations to our March of Dimes finalists! Each APP brings their unique talents to our team, department, and patients in an effort to support quality patient care and to strengthen our communities.
